We are looking for a SysOps Engineer to manage, operate, and support our SaaS multi-tenant AWS environments and customer deployments. This role focuses on day-to-day operations, incident response, automation, and ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain AWS services (EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Load Balancers, Lambda).
Design and implement custom monitoring solutions
Monitor system performance, handle alerts, troubleshoot incidents, and perform RCA.
Process and resolve customer support tickets related to infrastructure, performance, and access issues.
Escalate application-related customer requests and issues to the development team.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support critical systems and SLAs.
Manage IaC deployments using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Implement automation using Python/Bash and AWS-native tooling.
Apply AWS security best practices (IAM, KMS, encryption, network controls).
Optimize resource usage and help reduce AWS cost through FinOps practices.
Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and procedures.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in IT operations, preferably in enterprise-scale environment.
Knowledge of core AWS services and networking (EC2, S3, VPC, routing, DNS).
Experience with automation and/or IaC tools ( Jenkins, Terraform, CloudFormation)
Scripting skills (Python, Bash).
Experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging (e.g., Prometheus, CloudWatch)
Experience with both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Ability to work in an on-call rotation (24/7 support).
Fluency in English

What We’re Looking For

Exposure to one or more banking IT systems (e.g., OFSAA, ALM, FTP) is a strong plus.
